TOKYO KITASENJU

ONE HOUSE,
FOUR ERAS.

A PRIVATE HOUSE IN A QUIET NEIGHBORHOOD,
RESERVED FOR ONE GROUP PER DAY.

A private house, entirely for your group.

Entryway with a wooden staircase and getabako shelf

Chronos House is a private whole-house stay in a residential neighborhood of Kita-Senju, Tokyo, reserved for one group per day.

Inside are four spaces that reflect the Edo, Taisho, Showa, and Reiwa eras.

They are not displayed as exhibits. They are simply part of the house — layers of time that quietly overlap during a stay with family or friends.

Layers of Time Within One House

  • The Edo room
    江戸 EDO 1603-1868

Life close to the tatami. Time passes
    quietly.

  • The Taisho room
    大正 TAISHO 1912-1926

    Japanese and Western styles meet,
with a quiet sense of the wider world.

  • The Showa room
    昭和 SHOWA 1926-1989

A room with a little nostalgia, where
    family and friends can gather.

  • The Reiwa room
    令和 REIWA 2019-

A place to plan the days ahead and
    settle back into the present.

A whole house for your group.

  • Whole house,
    one group
    per day

  • Up to 7 guests

  • Noon to noon

  • A quiet
    residential
    neighborhood

  • Kitchen,
    washer,
    dryer, and Wi-Fi

The whole house is reserved for your group throughout your stay.

With a kitchen, washer, dryer, and Wi-Fi, it is well suited to families and groups staying for several days.

As the house is in a residential neighborhood, we ask guests to keep noise low in the evening.

Kita-Senju

Kita-Senju is not a well-known tourist district.

Here are shopping streets, a public bathhouse, the riverbank, narrow lanes, small shops, and the everyday movement around the station.

People live here, pass through, and return — an ordinary part of Tokyo.

There is nothing in particular you need to do. Step into a place that catches your eye, or simply keep walking. Either is enough.

In their own words.

  • “a quiet sense of nostalgia”

  • “super clean”

  • “an authentic local Tokyo atmosphere”
